Aykanna is a stunning musical duo created by Pauline Sukhdev Drossart and Grammy nominated percussionist Akahdahmah. Together they merge devotional chants with uplifting music. Pauline Sukhdev’s Soul and Jazz upbringing and Akahdahmah’s West African percussive influences seasoned with Afro-Cuban, New York City funk resonate throughout the album “Livelight”.
